I am trying to learn a bit about a wash stand set that I was just given. According to my Mother, it belonged to my great-Grandmother who “bought” her husband out of the service during the Spanish-American war era.
The marking on the bottoms is “Sigsbee”. The only thing I could find about Sigsbee is that was the name of the Captain of the USS Maine.
Will attach the mark, will try to attach other photos in another post
