I am trying to find out about two etchings signed MJ Nefkens for my Uncle. They are titled Najaarsstemming & Het Polderland. Does anyone know anything about this artist or prints? One is Dutch windmills scenic and the other is cottage in woods.
I also have a drawing of an archway signed Maurief Emily B?

Hi there,

M.J. Nefkens: a Dutch painter who lived between 1866 – 1941. His paintings are not that valuable: here in The Netherlands they do usually a couple of hundred dollars. Etchings probably less. His teacher was a very famous master painter though, called Hendrik Willem Mesdag.
