I am trying to find the maker of this sterling silver mark. It is a W inside a circle. It is on an art nouveau silver handled nail file. I have gone to two resources on line, but no luck.
Can anyone please help? Thank you., Marjorie

Scroll down here to Watrous Mfg Co.!! Thats the closest I have found !! They became part of International silver in 1898 !! The sterling line was started in the 1920`s so timeline fits !!
And just noticed that there is not a complete circle around the W on yours !!

Here is a not very good picture. It is just a round circle with a capital W in it followed by the word sterling. It is on the edge of the handle. The design on the handle is art nouveau with a naked cupid.
