Hello everyone, I have been trying to figure out what these are, or belonged to. The bottoms are not alike. They seem to be cut off of something maybe a flag pole, or fence post? There heavy for a small piece they measure about 5″x5″ I have two of them. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
Im trying to help my dad ID this silver decorative pot that my dad had picked up a while ago. He was told it was an “Antique Chinese Samovar” but there are other pieces that make him believe differently. Here are the reasons:
1.) The “pumpkin” design?
2.) The pump mechanism
3.) The narrow nozzle on the spout
4.) It appears that it may fit on top of another device
There are no markings as far as he can tell. But, if anyone can help give us some background on this piece or help with identifying it, it would be truly appreciated 🙂
Thanks,
Philip

This belonged to my grandfather and after he passed away in 1972 my dad took this to someone in Dallas who told him it was rare, probably 18th century and bronze. He has passed away and mom cannot remember anything else. None of my searches have found anything close. What do I have? There is a mark on bottom
Hi,
I got this flask as a gift 15 yrs ago. Now I am curious as to where it came from. Does anybody know anything about this flask?
It is hand-engraved and is says “silver” on the bottom. If anybody can tell me anything about it please do!
