I just picked up this old brass Shakespeare book holder. or it could be used as a letter holder as well. The front and the back sides have the same design with an image of Shakespeare on the front and the back. There are urns with flowers/vines or something growing upward from the urns. On the bottom of the item are the numbers of 6712 and is also found on the bottom of the sides.
