I have a tea waste bell bowl (I believe.) It has been in the family for at least 3 generations, probably dates from 1890’s.
Question is: does it have value above melt price? It has no maker marks but is scribbed with designs on bowl and has intricate masks joining feet to bowl.
The center post contains the bell actuator and has 4 spindles horizontally about 1/2 in long. Might have been hangers for little spoons? Any comments welcome.

Might be easier to post the pics to photobucket or what ever image sharing site you use except face book !! Then just post the link !! The pic is probably too large for this site !! Site is a bit outdated for todays pic sizes !!
