Is this a pewter plate featuring a bicentennial marching band? It’s signed H.M. Pevter 1973, so I’m assuming that it was created in 1973 but I can’t find any information on the signature. I thought maybe Pevter was misspelled and was meant to be Pewter but I still can’t find anything on the intials. Can anyone help? I like to know the story of my pieces so I’m looking for some backround information and possible worth.

No metal craft company that I am aware of uses an engraving pen for their marks !! Some have no marks and used metal stickers for the MFR name !! If I guessed,, I would say HM is the owners initials,,Pewter was misspelled and 1973 was when it was given to him !! Its just an historical scene since the bicentennial was in 1976 not 1973 !!
And Merry Christmas !!

Hmmm. Ok, thank you very much!! And Merry Christmas to you as well!!
