I found several small, very thin, flat, metal charms, some brass colored, some copper colored, one sort of steel-colored. Some have rings, not sure if meant for charm bracelets or if they were from 1950s vending machines or Cracker Jack.
They are all marked “Japan.” I have attached pictures of a few. In total I have:
Ladies’ fancy shoe; broom; riding stirrup; pistol (two-sided); old-timey sailing ship (two-sided); horse-shoe; rifle; sword(two-sided); padlock (which has Asian characters on one side).
If you know anything about these, era, materials, possible value, please post. Thank you! Cathy from Boston, Massachusetts.

I do not remember Cracker Jacks having any metal items but its possible I guess !! Most of theirs were plastic !! Its possible they were vending machine prizes or could have been from charm bracelets from 1940`s or 50`s !! I can remember when you could buy inexpensive bracelets for $.98 cents and the charms were $.29 cents each at many five and dime stores like Woolworths !!
Don`t think they have much value at all !! $5.00 or less for all !!
