I reducing the picture size is a common problem. I was able to reduce the size of the picture in the Windows Live Photo Gallery and then make sure that before you upload it to click on img in the box next...

My understanding is that pre-war Noritake says Nippon on the bottom of the mark. There is pretty good info on ages and marks of Noritake. Google Noritake & Marks.
