You're right. Im just used to the finely painted Noritake or Limoges pieces I have that are so delicately done. I need to think more about who actually did it and how it wasnt put out like the things...

No I can't say it's a sloppy mark. It's actually well executed..just very primitive looking. The two circles are perfect and the more I look the more it looks like letter Ms not arrows that very tightly...
