I'm trying to findout what these things are. They are made of cast iron and then chromed on the face. They are hinged - are they for a heating stove?

I'm trying to identify these cast iron items. The handle says "Estate" and is heavy cast iron - about 10" long. The two round grates are heavy cast iron. I'm guessing the one with the hinge pieces is...
