    It’s an oil can for changing the oil in an old car. The skinny piece on the left side is the funnel that went into the car. You take off the top of the “can” that stored the oil and pour it into the funnel.

    It’s some kind of horn. The cylinder is a bellows, pull the plunger up and press it back down to send air through the horn. A hand held fog horn for small boats, perhaps?
