I have a vintage, original, three door oak ice box with the manufacturer’s plate: “North Star Refrigerator Company, Chattanooga, Tennessee.” I have not been able to find out any information about this piece on the internet and would appreciate any help.

Most likely your pics are too big for this site !! There is a 2 MB file size limit here for one pic !! If larger just reply again for the next pic !! The site is a bit outdated for any hand held device that most people use !!

I uploaded 5 photos of the ice box but it is a mystery to me why only the last photo (the back of the unit) was the only one to show up. I will try again. Further online research indicates that a Mr. Haskell, a Chattanooga business man and Harvard graduate, organised the North Star Refrigerator Company in 1912. Perhaps the first units produced carried the Chattanooga label. If the photos do not send this time, I would be happy to send them to another email address. My personal email is: jscraigrcr@gmail.com
Thanks, John
