Canton China

Canton china is blue-and-white ware made near the city of Canton, in China, from about 1795 to the early 1900s. It is hand decorated with a landscape, pagoda, bridge, boats, and trees and a special border. There is never a person on the bridge. The “rain and cloud” border was used.
